Founding Father of Anti-Aging in Indonesia
Prof. Dr. dr. Wimpie Pangkahila, Sp.And- KSAAM was inaugurated as the Founding Father of Anti-Aging in Indonesia at the Inauguration of the 12 Presidents of ISAM (International Society of Anti Aging Medicine in 2022. In addition, he also received an “outstanding award from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M)“ in 2008. Prof. Dr. dr. Pangkahila designed the Postgraduate Program specializing in Anti-Aging Medicine in Indonesia since 2007 at Udayana University (Unud) Denpasar, Bali. This Postgraduate study program with a specialization in Anti-Aging Medicine is listed as the first in the world. Evidenced by the world record award certificate and Indonesian record for Udayana University from the Indonesian World Record Museum.
Prof. Dr. dr. Pangkahila’s educational background includes a medical degree from Udayana University, a Post-Doctoral Program at the University of Washington, and a specialization and Doctorate in Andrology from Airlangga University. He has authored numerous scientific works, including 5 books in Anti-Aging Medicine, 23 books in Sexuality where 2 books are also published in Malaysia and 255 scientific papers. He is also a contributor in International Encyclopedia of Human Sexuality as well as Social Obstetric Gynecology and a speaker in various scientific and public events.
Prof. Dr. Pangkahila is the Chairman of the Indonesian Center for Anti-Aging Medicine (INCAAM), the Chairman for the Indonesian Association of Andrology Specialists (Persandi), and the Chairman for the Indonesian Association of Sexology (ASI).
